Cottages on the lakes
Big lake-facing windows take sun off the water as well as from the sky. Film cuts the heat and glare and blocks 99% of UV, so floors and furniture stop fading, and you keep the view.
Architectural film53 km to Bobcaygeon, about 45 minutes
Bobcaygeon is about 45 minutes north-west of us, by Highway 7 and Pigeon Lake Road. We cover the lake country of Kawartha Lakes: Bobcaygeon, Fenelon Falls, Omemee and the cottages on Sturgeon, Pigeon, Balsam and Cameron lakes. We have already done a few jobs in Bobcaygeon.
Kawartha Lakes is mostly lakes and cottage country. Bobcaygeon sits where Sturgeon Lake meets Pigeon Lake, with Lock 32 of the Trent-Severn Waterway in the middle of town, and Fenelon Falls has Lock 34 between Cameron Lake and Sturgeon Lake. So a lot of the glass out here faces a lake.

Architectural filmA cottage closed up from fall to spring is an easy target, and glass is the usual way in. Security film holds broken glass in the frame and slows anyone trying to get through.
Security filmWindows by the water reflect the lake and the trees, and birds fly into them. Bird markers put rows of small dots on the outside of the glass: birds read them as a barrier, and you still see the lake.
Bird filmWe had 8 very high, large cottage windows tinted to minimize sun glare and reduce the heat. We are very happy with the finished result. David instantly responded to my initial inquiry and was punctual throughout the process. He provided thorough information on our tint options. I feel like we were in very good hands, which is such a relief when you cold call a business. He is reliable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this for their home.
